The concept of Diva-Dog was born in 1996 when Kathy Haase, President of Diva-Dog, woke up
early one rainy day to trudge thru the puddles on her morning walk with her pug Max.
Looking down at the same old ugly collar and leash was really depressing. And observing the
"wardrobe" of the other dogs on her route, she saw an equally miserable looking collection
of collars and leashes. She knew she could make something much more stylish for her little bundle of pug.

So she took a leap of faith, quit her job and designed her first dog collar.

Twelve years later Diva-Dog is in over 400 stores throughout the world including Tokyo,
Paris and Berlin. But one thing still remains the same. Diva-Dog products are on the leading-edge
of fashion, incorporating the latest trends from the runways and these products are made of
the highest quality materials including Swarovski crystals, fine-grain leathers and
dynamic graphics.... and Kathy is still walking Max in the rain!!
